Faw Lightback – Brown Hellrücken

Two sex- linked recessive mutations. The fawn mutation changes the black and grey pigments to fawn (brown) pigments.
Lightbacks causes a general reduction of the body colour of the bird, while keeping the black marking intact. The Light back mutation is situated on the same gene as the Chesnut Flanked White (Multiple Alleles). A Male Zebra Finch split for both light back and chesnut flanked white will visibly be a light back. The colour separation of the head/neck and back/wings is required on the European Continent. The convination of Fawn and Lightback requires crossing over to happen.
Is a Brand new mutation and extremely rare Zebra Finch and the most striking of all Zebras.

Father: Faw Split Black Breast, Split Orange Breasted
Mother: Phaeo Split Orange Breasted

Faw Lightback – Brown Hellrücken (Español)
Estas son dos mutaciones ligadas al sexo. Solo los machos la portan. Los Fawn cambian los colores gris y negros a fawn (marrón). Los Lightbacks reducen el color negro de todas las marcas. Los Lightback y los CFW comparten el mismo gen. (Multiple Alleles). Un macho Zebra que sea portador tanto de L.B. como de CFW sera un LB visible. Para el Europa Continental un buen LB es aquel que tiene diferentes tonos de color entre la cabeza, cuello, espalda y alas.
Para lograr esta conbinación debemos hacer más de un cruce para lograrla. Esa es una mutación nueva y muy rara. Muchos la encontramos muy bella y delicada mutación

Zebra Finches Rock Out With Electric Guitars
The Zebra Finches-- not only would it make for a good band name, but the birds already have a musical reputation thanks to French artist/composer Celeste Boursier-Mougenot.
Boursier-Mougenot creates works by drawing sound out of in unexpected sources, redefining how we view everyday situations. His latest installation for the Barbican Centre in London puts a flock of zebra finches in an aviary that functions as a sort of high-tech playground, complete with electric guitars and other musical instruments.
You start to get the feeling the birds have an ear for music, especially when one zebra finch rocks out with a guitar solo, using a twig as a guitar pick.
